Description
Our shredder and press integrated machine is a volume reduction and dehydration device developed for waste such as vegetable scraps and kitchen waste. Currently, vegetable processing enterprises, cold storage facilities, vegetable wholesale markets, and vegetable planting bases generally face problems such as large amounts of organic waste, difficulty in handling, and high transportation costs. Our company developed this shredder, press, dehydration, and volume reduction integrated machine to effectively solve these problems. It can reduce the volume of some materials by more than 90%. When used in conjunction with our fermentation equipment, it can truly achieve the "three-fold" treatment of waste, namely, volume reduction, harmlessness, and resource recovery.
Feeding Methods
Depending on the usage scenario and processing capacity, there are two feeding methods: garbage bin tipping elevator and chain conveyor.
Working Principle
1.. Shred
The twin-shaft shredder primarily relies on the principles of "shearing, cutting, and extrusion" to crush solid waste. An electric motor drives a reducer, transmitting torque to the moving blades of the shredder via the cutter roller shaft. The hooks of the moving blades hook onto the material and tear it downwards, while the blades of the rollers shred the solid waste like scissors. The crushed material and pre-screened material are discharged from the bottom of the municipal solid waste shredder. The twin-shaft shredder is environmentally friendly, energy-saving, highly efficient, dust-free, low-noise, low-maintenance, and safe to operate. It can effectively process various types of solid waste, producing uniform particle size and improving the dewatering rate in subsequent stages.
2. Dehydration by Pressing:
A screw press is a device that uses physical compression to dehydrate materials. It consists of a drive system, feed hopper, screw,screen, pneumatic obstruction device, water collection tank, and frame. Material enters the equipment through the feed hopper and is subjected to progressively increasing pressure under the conveying force of the screw conveyor. Excess water is discharged through the screen and the dehydrated material is discharged through the outlet while the screw conveyor continues to convey the material, pushing aside the obstruction device. Our company's screw presses have undergone hundreds of precise theoretical calculations and experimental verifications, incorporating feedback from numerous users over many years of use. We have comprehensively upgraded to a series of mature equipment, precisely analyzing different materials to be dehydrated and employing different technical parameters to truly achieve low energy consumption, high output, and low moisture content, saving significant processing costs for the secondary recycling of materials.
