Screw press is a device that uses physical extrusion to dehydrate materials. The device consists of drive system, feed box, extrusion screw, screen, pneumatic material blocking device, water collection tank, frame. The material enters the device from the feed box and is subjected to progressively increasing pressure under the conveying of the screw. Excess water is discharged through the screen and out of the liquid outlet. The dehydrated material is discharged from the device through the discharge outlet under the continued conveying of the screw conveyor, which pushes open the material blocking device.
Working Principle Of HTYZ Series Manure Separator With Manual Feed
The dewatering process of a screw press dewatering machine is divided into two stages.
The first stage utilizes a screw auger for dewatering. The extrusion screw consists of three sections: transmission section, compression section, discharge section. The transmission section ensures that the material enters the equipment smoothly. In the dewatering section, the pitch of the screw blades or the inner diameter of the screw gradually decreases, thus gradually reducing the transmission space. This gradual reduction in transmission space creates progressively increasing pressure on the material, forcing the material to shrink in volume and pressing out the water.
The second stage utilizes a material blocking device for dewatering. When the material enters the discharge section of the extrusion screw, the extrusion screw applies an axial thrust to push the material out of the discharge port. At the same time, the material blocking device, pressurized by a pneumatic device, applies a reverse force to the material about to be pushed out, thus creating a squeezing force for the second stage of dewatering.

①Low operating costs:
The screw press uses the principle of physical extrusion dehydration, and no additional heat source is required during the dehydration process, resulting in extremely low energy consumption compared to similar drying equipment.
②High throughput during continuous operation:
The parameters of the spiral auger have been analyzed by mechanical calculations, and special processes are used to increase the axial thrust, completely solving the problems of slippage, bridging, material return, shaft failure and other reasons that prevent continuous operation, thus greatly increasing the throughput per unit time.
③Low moisture content in the slag:
Due to the wide variety of materials to be dewatered, the moisture content, molecular water ratio,viscosity, fiber content, water absorption, toughness, organic or inorganic matter, etc., of different materials vary. Our engineers will analyze the materials to be dewatered provided by each customer, calculate the parameters suitable for the material, and manufacture suitable equipment to maximize the physical pressing effect and reduce the moisture content of the extruded material.
④Wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant:
The key parts of the screw press are coated with wear-resistant layer, and an alloy blade is welded to the surface of the screw auger blades to increase wear resistance; the core components are made of SS304 , which is resistant to acid, alkali and corrosion, thus greatly extending the service life of the equipment
⑤No chemicals required:
Screens with a gap of 0.3mm-1.0mm can be selected according to the properties of the material to be dewatered. No flocculants or other chemicals need to be added during the dewatering process, so there is no additional cost. At the same time, the addition of chemical components will not affect the secondary use of the material.
