Customer Background

HUATAO recently provided a customized Internal Scraper Self-Cleaning Filter for a customer operating in Russia's egg processing industry.

During production, the customer needed to remove eggshell fragments, dirt, and other suspended solid contaminants from the processing liquid. Effective filtration was important for maintaining process cleanliness and supporting reliable downstream production.

Before contacting HUATAO, the customer was using a pneumatic scraper filter. The existing system could remove a large proportion of solid contaminants, but some smaller particles were still passing through the filtration process.These remaining impurities included fine eggshell fragments , small dust particles mixed with dirt as well as other contaminants.At the same time, the customer's production requirements were increasing, they need an more higher processing capacity filter

HUATAO Customized Internal Scraper Filter Solution

After evaluating the customer's material characteristics, contaminant size, required filtration accuracy, and processing capacity, HUATAO designed a customized Internal Scraper Self-Cleaning Filter.The system combines a built-in stainless steel wedge wire filter screen with a PTFE scraper cleaning mechanism.

During operation, the processing liquid flows through the filtration chamber while eggshell particles, dirt, and other solid contaminants are retained on the filter surface.As contaminants accumulate on the wedge wire screen, the internal scraper helps remove deposited solids from the filtration surface.This self-cleaning design supports stable filtration performance and reduces the need for frequent manual cleaning.The customized solution was designed to address both of the customer's main requirements: improved removal of fine contaminants and increased processing capacity.

Improved Fine Particle Removal:The built-in 250-micron stainless steel wedge wire screen provides more effective retention of fine solid contaminants.

Compared with the customer's previous filtration situation, the customized system is designed to improve the removal of small eggshell fragments, dirt particles, and other suspended solids.This helps improve the overall cleanliness of the processing liquid and supports downstream process stability.

Increased Filtration Capacity:With a maximum flow rate of 10,000–20,000 L/hour, the HUATAO Internal Scraper Filter is designed to support higher production throughput.The increased processing capacity helps the customer meet growing production requirements while reducing the risk of filtration becoming a bottleneck within the production process.

Reduced Manual Cleaning Requirements:The PTFE internal scraper helps remove accumulated solids from the wedge wire filter surface during operation.This reduces the dependence on frequent manual cleaning and helps maintain stable filtration performance for longer operating periods.For the customer, this can contribute to improved operational efficiency and reduced maintenance requirements.

More Flexible and Intelligent Control:The system is equipped with a Siemens PLC touchscreen and pressure sensors.

Multiple control modes are available, including:Time control,Pressure control,Manual control.This configuration allows the filtration process to be adjusted according to actual operating conditions and production requirements.
