Description Of Aviation Filter Housings for Fuel & Water Separation
Coalescing separators—also known as oil-water filter separators or jet fuel filter separators—combine filtration and dehydration functions.
They are capable of removing not only minute particles from a medium but also water, fibers, and suspended solids.
As such, they serve as an ideal solution for purifying oil-based products and are also widely used for the purification of various fine chemical raw materials.
Parameter Of Aviation Filter Housings for Fuel & Water Separation
Flow rate ranges from 30 m³/h to 500 m³/h;
Design pressure ratings include 1.0, 1.6, 2.5, 4.0, and 6.4 MPa;
Available in vertical or horizontal installation configurations;
Filtration precision options include 3–5 μm and 1 μm (specifically for the removal of suspended solids).
Filter housing Material:Carbon steel or SS304 or SS316
Filter elements/filter cartridge: The filter separator contains two types of filter elements—coalescer elements and separator elements.
Scope of application: aviation fuel, gasoline, kerosene, diesel, turbine oil, and other low-viscosity hydraulic oils, lubricating oils, etc.
Aviation Sector:
Military fuel depots, airport jet fuel storage areas, transit fuel depots, aircraft refuelers, locations upstream of semi-finished and finished product storage tanks at refineries, filtration of petroleum products prior to dispatch, as well as terminal facilities and oil pipelines.
1)Petrochemical Sector:
1. Filtration and dehydration of gasoline, diesel, and kerosene.
2. Filtration and dehydration of primary, intermediate, and final hydrocarbon products.
3. Removal of caustic (alkali) solutions following caustic treatment processes.
4. Filtration and dehydration of process media within catalytic cracking, cracking, and coking units.
5. Separation of water and amines from liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
2) Natural Gas Sector:
Removal of impurities and liquid droplets from various gases, including municipal gas, mine gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and air.
